Dr Tim Slattery – Bio

Dr Timothy Slattery is a medical oncologist with experience in diagnosis and management of all solid tumour subtypes. Dr Slattery has significant experience in the field of medical oncology, with his many contributions highlighting his devotion to providing comprehensive and holistic patient-empowered cancer care.

Dr Slattery completed his oncology training in Western Australia, obtaining his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2020. He has also completed a 12-month Melanoma & Renal Cancer Clinical Research fellowship at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in London, United Kingdom in 2020.

Dr Slattery sub-specialises in the management of all solid tumours, with a particular interest in:

  • Genitourinary cancer
  • Gastrointestinal cancer
  • Lung cancer and;
  • Skin cancers including melanoma.

Dr Slattery has collaborated with world-leading experts in immunotherapy, targeted therapy and cell therapy, and is an investigator for many solid tumour clinical trials. He has contributed to the publication of scientific papers covering a wide range of research including early and late phase clinical trials, trial protocol development, and clinical audit.

As well as his private practice at St John Of God Murdoch, Dr Slattery provides a weekly visiting specialist cancer service in Geraldton. Dr Slattery has also been involved in various teaching, mentoring, and service improvement programs, and is currently a Young Oncologists Group of Australia committee member. His other interests include exercise & well-being in cancer, education, advocacy, and mentorship.

Dr Ade Freeman – Bio

Dr Adeoluwa (Ade) Freeman is an Australian trained medical oncologist with experience across two continents. Dr Freeman graduated his initial medical education in 2008 at The Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.

In 2010 Dr Freeman migrated to Australia and underwent specialist training as a medical oncologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, successfully obtaining Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Dr Freeman’s expertise encompasses various areas of medical oncology with special interests in urological, lung cancers and breast cancers.

Dr Freeman is a dedicated medical professional and a member of:

  • Australian Medical Association, which represents the interests of medical practitioners across Australia.
  • European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), that promotes multidisciplinary cancer treatment and research in Europe and;
  • American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a leading professional organisation in the field of oncology in the United States.

Dr Freeman’s diverse medical background, specialist training and active involvement in professional associations reflect his dedication to delivering comprehensive and specialised medical oncology care to all his patients.
